The thing to watch on diesels
City work and the diesel particulate filter
A diesel pickup that only does short city runs never gets hot enough to clean its particulate filter. Soot builds up until a warning appears, power drops, and a simple clean becomes an expensive repair.
This is a common diesel problem, not a Great Wall fault, but Dubai delivery and site work is exactly the pattern that causes it. The good news is that it is easy to prevent when you know the signs.

How full is the filter? Three stages
Stage 1 · Prevent
A proper highway run
A steady highway drive every few weeks lets the filter clean itself. Fleet managers can plan it into the route.
Stage 2 · First warning
Act straight away
A longer drive or a workshop regeneration usually clears it with no parts needed.
Stage 3 · Left too long
Clean or replace
The filter can block fully, needing removal for cleaning or replacement, and time off the road.

What engines does the Great Wall Poer have?
The Poer comes with a 2.0 turbo petrol of about 197 hp or a 2.0 turbo diesel of about 160 hp, with a ZF 8 speed automatic or a 6 speed manual. We confirm yours by VIN.
Why are my pickup's brakes dragging?
Brakes that stay on after you release the pedal can overheat the fluid and fail. On a truck under warranty, stop driving and take it to the dealer. Out of warranty, we check the master cylinder, ABS unit and hoses.
Why does the back of my pickup sag?
Daily heavy loads wear the leaf springs and shackles. We measure the ride height and replace or upgrade the springs to suit the loads you carry.
Do you service Great Wall fleets?
