PPF prices by coverage in Dubai

Start with the panels you want to protect. A highway-driven car may prioritize the front end; full-body coverage adds protection to the remaining painted panels for a more consistent finish.

These are our published indicative coverage budgets, not fixed packages. Paint condition, body size, panel shape and film grade change the final price.

Confirm the fitted total

VAT treatment is not confirmed in these guide ranges. Your written quote must state the film, installation, preparation, exact panel list, exclusions and VAT-inclusive total.

Partial coverage

AED 1,500–3,000

Selected impact or contact areas. Specify each panel and whether it is fully or partly covered. This budget does not automatically mean a complete hood, bumper and fenders.

Full-body sedan

AED 5,000–8,000

A planning range for the agreed exterior painted panels. Confirm bumpers, mirror caps, roof and smaller painted trim individually. Glass, wheels and interior surfaces are separate.

Full-body SUV

AED 8,000–12,000

Larger bodywork and more complex panels affect material and fitting time. Clarify painted roof sections, spare-wheel covers and accessories when comparing quotes.

Specialty film projects

AED 10,000+

Premium or specialty specifications can exceed standard coverage budgets. Self-healing or water-repellent features alone do not define a package; compare the named film and exact coverage.

Ask for full-front coverage by name

For a complete front-end quote, list the full hood, front bumper, front fenders and mirror caps. Lights and other surfaces require separate suitability checks. Paint correction, chip repair, old-film removal, coating and trim removal are extra unless specifically included.

Choose the result you want

Clear gloss, satin or a different color?

Finish, protection and care requirements belong in the same decision. Ask to see a physical sample against your paint before approving a change.

Keep the existing appearance

Clear gloss PPF

A transparent protective layer keeps the paint color visible and adds a glossy surface. Film edges, texture and seams can still be visible at close range. Coverage and fitting quality matter as much as the label.

A softer reflection

Matte or satin PPF

A matte-finish film can protect a suitable matte surface or change the appearance of gloss paint. Agree the look across the whole vehicle; isolated satin panels on a glossy car create a deliberate contrast.

Surface behavior

Self-healing and hydrophobic film

Some topcoats recover from fine surface marks with warmth and help water release. These are product features, not guarantees against every scratch. A cut, puncture or deep impact does not simply disappear.

A change in appearance

Colored protective film

Ask about suitable colored PPF and current availability if you want protection with a new finish. Compare it with car wrapping, which is a separate material choice. Confirm applicable vehicle color-change requirements before booking.

Compare the exact product

Film brands and warranty years

A brand name alone does not tell you the film specification or warranty. These manufacturer references help you compare a proposed product; availability and UAE warranty eligibility must be confirmed for your quote.

What PPF can do for your paint

01

Take everyday wear on a replaceable layer

PPF places a physical film over the paint. It can reduce damage from minor stone impacts and surface scuffs on the covered areas, but it cannot prevent dents, collisions or every deep scratch.

02

Make routine care more manageable

An appropriate film can resist staining and offer an easier-to-clean surface. Sand and dust still need to be rinsed away before washing. Bird droppings, residue and water spots still need prompt, suitable cleaning.

03

Keep the existing finish visible

Clear film lets sound original paint remain visible while adding protection. Protecting the finish may help its condition over time, but no specific resale-value increase or future repair saving is guaranteed.

Dubai heat does not remove the need for care

Film selection, installation and maintenance all matter in sunny, dusty conditions. Do not assume every film provides the same UV performance or a guaranteed service life. A warranty term is not a promise that the surface will stay flawless for that many years.

Inspect the paint first

Protection starts with a suitable surface

New cars still need inspection

Delivery marks, contamination and transport damage should be identified before film is fitted. Agree whether washing, decontamination or paint correction is needed, and which work is included in the installation price.

For an older car, PPF will not repair deep chips, failing clear coat or existing dents. Arrange scratch repair or the appropriate body-shop work first when the surface needs restoration.

Repainted panels need extra care

Tell us which panels have been repaired or repainted. Paint must be properly cured and suitable for film according to the refinisher and film requirements. There is no universal waiting period that suits every paint system.

Removal also needs assessment. Original sound paint, weak clear coat and a previous repaint can behave differently when film is removed. A damage-free removal promise should not be made without checking the surface and existing film.

Agree the finish details

How the PPF installation is planned

01

Record the coverage

Mark the approved panels, finish and existing paint defects. Discuss visible seams, edge wrapping and any trim access rather than assuming every edge can be hidden.

02

Prepare and fit the film

Clean and prepare the approved surfaces, then fit the chosen film to the panel shapes. The selected pattern and access determine the finishing approach.

03

Inspect and hand over

Check the fitted surface, edges and agreed coverage. Explain settling behavior, the first-wash timing and how to report a lifting edge or an unexpected blemish.

Application and finishing must suit the film and the shape of each panel.

Plan the time off the road

Partial coverage, full-body fitting, paint correction and old-film removal need different schedules. We confirm the installation slot, preparation time and collection arrangements with your quote. Curing and follow-up instructions depend on the selected product.

Look after the finish

Aftercare that matches the fitted film

  • Follow the stated first-wash waiting period. It varies with the product and installation instructions.
  • Rinse off grit before contact washing. Use clean, soft wash materials and compatible products.
  • Keep pressure-washer jets away from film edges and follow the specified distance and pressure limits.
  • Remove contamination promptly and gently. Ask before using solvents, abrasive polish or an additional coating.

Ask before trying to fix an edge

Do not pull, trim or heat a lifting edge yourself. Send a clear photo and arrange an inspection. Small moisture effects during settling and persistent contamination beneath the film require different responses.

Keep the invoice, exact film name, panel list and warranty record. If a panel later needs body repair, tell the repairer that it has PPF so removal and replacement can be included in the scope.

Pick the material for the job

PPF, ceramic coating or vinyl wrap?

Paint protection film

A physical layer chosen for protection against minor impacts and wear. Coverage can be partial or extensive, and finish depends on the film. Damaged sections may need replacement.

Ceramic coating

A surface treatment chosen for its cleaning and water behavior. It does not provide the same physical barrier against stone chips. A compatible coating over PPF is an optional extra subject to film-maker approval.

Vinyl wrapping

Commonly chosen for a color or design change. Do not assume a decorative vinyl has the same protective construction as PPF. Compare the actual material, purpose and applicable care instructions.

For vehicle-specific coverage discussion, see our Audi paint protection film service or send the details of your model. Vehicle size alone does not reveal the panel complexity or preparation needed.

Before your visit

Paint protection film questions

Clear answers about the work, cost and next step for your car.

Is partial PPF enough for my car?

It can suit a defined budget and selected high-exposure areas. The uncovered paint remains exposed. Compare the exact panel list with full-front or full-body coverage rather than choosing only by the package name.

Does self-healing PPF repair every scratch?

No. The feature relates to fine marks in a suitable film topcoat under the product conditions. Deep cuts, punctures and damage to the paint or panel are not repaired by that feature.

Will clear PPF look completely invisible?

Clear film keeps the underlying color visible, but close inspection may show texture, edges or seams. A sample and an agreed edge-finishing plan help set realistic expectations.

Is a ten-year warranty included with every installation?

No. The comparison above lists manufacturer terms for named products. Your chosen film, eligible installation, documentation and exclusions determine the applicable cover. Confirm installation workmanship separately.

Can I apply PPF to a used car?

Yes, if the inspected surface is suitable. Existing chips, loose paint and deeper damage need attention first. Any correction or repair should be approved before the film is fitted.

Can one damaged panel be re-covered?

Often, an affected section can be removed and replaced after assessing the film and underlying paint. Matching an older film finish may be imperfect, and body repair can change the required scope.

What details do you need for a PPF quote?

Send the make, model and year, desired coverage and gloss, satin or color preference. Include clear exterior photos and mention repainting or old film. We confirm the suitable product and complete fitted price after review.
