Conventional AC compressor1,260–4,725 per vehicleReplacement compressor and routine fitting. Recharge, oil balancing and contamination-related parts must be itemised.
Gearbox, engine or 4WD faultQuote after assessmentAgree the investigation, then compare the identified repair, compatible parts, fluids, labour and final setup.

Budgets checked against Mechanics’ published service guides on 15 October 2026. Each row is a separate job, not a package to add together. Parts specification, quantity, access and additional faults can change the total. Your quotation confirms parts, labour, VAT, exclusions and any paid diagnosis.

Ask for the fitted Suzuki price

Tell us the model, year and concern. Compare necessary repairs and suitable parts before spending on a complete assembly.

Illustrative Suzuki Jimny axle and steering inspection

A Jimny needs its fitted 4WD and suspension equipment checked, especially after modifications or an impact.

Three-door and five-door Jimny

Small 4×4. Specific checks.

A wobble, clunk or new driveline noise deserves assessment before the next trip. Tell us what changed, including larger tyres, a suspension lift, an impact or water exposure.

Steering and rigid axles

Check tyres, wheels, steering links, joints, bushes and dampers together. Replacing a damper or adjusting alignment without finding the cause may leave the vibration.

Transfer gear and driveline

The Jimny’s part-time 4WD and low-range transfer gear are separate from its main gearbox. Assess the relevant unit, leaks, prop shafts and axle condition.

Dust, cooling and fluids

Check intake sealing, filters and cooling surfaces against use and condition. Engine, gearbox, transfer and axle fluids each need their specified product and schedule.

Follow the handbook for drive-mode selection. If steering feels unsafe, stop and call about suitable transport.

Choose the work

Suzuki services without the guesswork.

You can call with a symptom rather than a part name. The inspection should explain what needs attention and which sound components can stay.

Keep everyday costs clear

Servicing and wear

Oil and scheduled items

Swift, Baleno and Dzire servicing matched to the engine, service record and items due. Avoid paying for a major package when an oil service is enough.

Oil service details

Brakes and wheels

Noise, pulling or vibration needs checks of pads, discs, calipers and tyres. The brake quote states one axle or the complete work required.

Brake repair options

Suspension and steering

Inspect bushes, joints, shocks and steering before choosing the worn component or a complete assembly.

Engine and drivetrain

Leaks and rough running

Oil loss, coolant loss, misfire or rising temperature need the relevant engine and cooling checks. A symptom is not proof of a failed sensor.

Gearbox or clutch

Identify manual, conventional automatic, CVT or automated manual equipment before selecting fluid or repair parts.

Gearbox repair choices

Jimny driveline

Transfer gear, prop shafts, axles and differentials are separate from the main gearbox. Tell us if a noise began after an impact or off-road trip.

Make the car comfortable

AC and electrical checks

Warm air or weak airflow

A filter restriction, refrigerant leak, fan issue and compressor fault need different work. Check the cause before another refill.

AC repair and prices

Starting and warning lights

Check the ordinary battery supply, charging system and relevant fault history. Clearing a warning alone does not complete the repair.

SHVS mild hybrids

Fronx and applicable Grand Vitara versions add starter-generator and battery equipment. Confirm the fitted system and the work available before specialist repairs.

Match the transmission

Which gearbox does your Suzuki have?

Choose the type if you know it. The year, engine and original market help identify the correct service, fluid and repair options.

A continuously variable transmission

An automatic selector does not identify a CVT. Confirm the installed transmission using the model, year and vehicle details.

Describe the behaviour

Mention shudder, delayed take-off, warning messages and whether it happens cold or hot.

Choose the correct fluid

A due fluid service needs the specified CVT product and procedure. Universal automatic fluid is not a substitute.

Separate service from repair

Fluid replacement cannot fix every control fault or worn internal part. Establish the cause before approving an expensive unit.

A conventional automatic gearbox

Suzuki gearboxes differ by model, generation and market. The current Jimny is offered with a conventional automatic or manual gearbox.

Record when it shifts badly

Describe delayed engagement, jolting shifts, leaks and recent fluid or repair work.

Identify the right work

A leak, electrical problem, control fault and internal wear may need very different repairs.

Compare the finished repair

Include removal and refitting if needed, correct fluid, seals, applicable setup and final testing.

Clutch and gear-selection work

A manual gearbox and an automated manual share some mechanical ideas but use different controls.

Describe the symptom

Clutch slip, pedal changes, difficult selection and an automated-shift warning are different concerns.

Match the components

Confirm the clutch, linkage or actuator equipment before ordering. Automated manual availability varies by market.

Include the setup

The quote should identify required fitting, control work and any adaptation, rather than treating every fault as a clutch kit.

Model and generation

Swift to Jimny. Match your version.

Earlier and newer Suzukis can need different brake parts, filters, gearbox fluids and electrical checks. A VIN is useful when a model name and photograph cannot settle compatibility.

Older or imported Alto, Celerio, Ignis, Liana and Kizashi enquiries are welcome. We check parts availability and the work we can accept before arranging the visit.

Keep the right parts. Replace what is needed.

Bring the last invoice or service-book page. Age, mileage, specification and condition determine the work; the badge alone does not.

Service what is due

Match oil approval, quantity, filters, plugs and fluid changes to your engine and schedule. Low mileage does not remove time-based maintenance. Check the named inclusions rather than relying on “major service”.

Compare suitable parts

Ask for the manufacturer, compatibility and new, used or rebuilt condition. Compare genuine Suzuki and suitable alternatives where available, including labour, fluids, setup and final checks.

Check existing cover

Mechanics is independent. Ask Suzuki UAE or your provider about manufacturer warranty, a service plan or an applicable campaign before paid repairs. Repair-specific warranty terms belong on the quotation.

Suzuki references: Jimny 4WD, Fronx SHVS, Grand Vitara equipment and UAE warranty information. Specifications vary by year and market.

From enquiry to handover

Arrange the visit. Approve the work.

Call or WhatsApp with the model, year and concern. Ask about appointment availability, parts lead time and pickup or transport arrangements.

01

Describe the concern

Add mileage, warning photos or recent changes if available. You do not need a diagnosis to enquire.

02

Agree the checks

The initial inspection is free. Additional tests, dismantling and paid investigation are agreed first.

03

Approve the price

Review the findings, compatible parts, labour, VAT and extras before repairs start.

04

Confirm collection

Get a job-specific completion estimate, final checks and record of the work.

Know why the work is recommended

A refill, leak repair and compressor replacement are different jobs. Ask what the tests found and what the quoted repair includes.

Suzuki repair questions.

Servicing, Jimny concerns, gearboxes and the next step for your car.

How much does Suzuki servicing cost in Dubai?

The general planning ranges shown here are AED 350–900 for minor servicing and AED 900–2,500 for major servicing, including a 5% VAT allowance. These are not fixed Suzuki tariffs. Engine specification, parts and the items actually due determine the written price.

Can you investigate Jimny steering vibration?

Yes. Describe the speed, braking conditions and recent tyre, suspension or off-road work. Wheels, tyres, steering, suspension and driveline need different checks. An alignment or steering damper is not the answer to every vibration.

Does every automatic Suzuki use CVT fluid?

No. Transmission type depends on the model, year and market. A conventional automatic, CVT and automated manual need different fluids and procedures. Identify the fitted unit before servicing or ordering parts.

Do SHVS mild hybrids need different servicing?

They retain a petrol engine and its maintenance requirements, with additional starter-generator and battery equipment on applicable versions. Engine servicing and investigating a hybrid-system warning are separate jobs. Confirm the workshop’s coverage for the exact system.

How often should I service my Suzuki?

Use the time and mileage limits in the handbook and service record for your exact car. Bring the last invoice if unsure what was done. There is no single oil grade or service interval suitable for every Suzuki.

How long will repairs take and what warranty applies?

The estimate follows the assessment and parts availability. Ask for the planned completion time and repair-specific parts and labour warranty in writing. Manufacturer warranty, service plans and campaigns should be checked with Suzuki UAE or your provider before paid work.
