The most common Geely complaint in a Dubai summer is AC that takes a long time to cool. Some of that is normal for the system, and some is a fault with a cheap fix. Answer three questions to see which.

Coolrays built before the 2022 update use a 1.5 litre three cylinder turbo with a timing belt that often fails well before its promised 100,000 km. If it breaks, the engine can be badly damaged, so knowing which engine you have matters.
The same engine is also known for using oil and for sensitive injectors that need cleaning, more so on lower quality fuel. From the 2022 update, the Coolray moved to a four cylinder 1.5 with a timing chain, which experts expect to last far longer.
We inspect the belt, measure oil use and test the injectors. Our advice is to change the belt early rather than wait for the book figure.

Geely's 7 speed dual clutch gearbox is efficient, but it is less smooth at walking speed than a normal automatic. Early cars, built before 2022, had a calibration that made this worse. Here is what each symptom usually means.
