Earlier 1.0 / 1.2 PureTech
Peugeot acknowledges belt-related oil-pressure and oil-consumption concerns on some earlier versions. Identify the engine before proposing a kit; the PureTech name alone does not establish the timing system.
An engine warning, coolant loss or an overdue service? Arrange Peugeot engine, gearbox, AC, brake and suspension work with Mechanics. Start with a free initial inspection and a written quote for the work your car needs.
Minor-service planning budget AED 350–900 per vehicle, including 5% VAT. Correct oil, filter and routine labour; due extras are identified in the quote.

These general Dubai planning ranges include 5% VAT. They describe routine fitted work, rather than fixed Peugeot tariffs. Your engine, parts specification and access determine the vehicle-specific quote.
| Work | Budget in AED | Included work and extras |
|---|---|---|
| Minor service | AED 350–900per vehicle | Specified engine oil, oil filter, routine labour and agreed checks. Other filters and fault repairs are additional unless listed. |
| Major service | AED 900–2,500per vehicle | Servicing plus the due filters, plugs or scheduled fluids in your quote. Timing parts and unscheduled repairs are separate. |
| Standard brake pads | AED 265–850per axle | Compatible pads for both wheels and routine fitting. Discs, sensors, calipers and extra hardware are separate. |
| Control arm replacement | AED 420–1,260per arm | One compatible conventional arm and routine fitting. Extra arms, seized fittings and alignment change the total. |
| Conventional AC compressor | AED 1,260–4,725per vehicle | Replacement compressor and routine fitting. Identify recharge, oil balancing and associated parts separately; contamination treatment is extra. |
| Four-wheel alignment | AED 157.50–315per vehicle | Measurement and supported adjustment. Worn joints, damaged tyres, seized adjusters or extra calibration are separate. |
Timing, coolant-leak, internal gearbox and electrical repairs need a fault-specific quote. Compare the component, access labour, seals, fluids, setup and final checks. An AC recharge is a different job from repairing a leak or changing a compressor.
The initial inspection is free. Agree any paid investigation or dismantling first, then compare a written total before parts are ordered.

Describe whether the fault appears cold, hot, in traffic or under load. These are repair enquiries, not faults on every Peugeot; a warning message alone does not identify a failed component.
Peugeot acknowledges belt-related oil-pressure and oil-consumption concerns on some earlier versions. Identify the engine before proposing a kit; the PureTech name alone does not establish the timing system.
Cold-start noise, rough running, oil use or reduced boost need relevant running and mechanical checks. Compare ignition, leak or timing work with the findings before approving an expensive assembly.
Peugeot’s new-generation 1.2 Hybrid 136 uses a timing chain and e-DCS6 transmission. Plug-in hybrids and electric e-models differ again; confirm the available specialist work before booking.

For a belt-equipped engine, use its current oil approval and maintenance schedule. A timing quote should identify the kit, tensioners, seals and access labour. Add a water pump where the fitted design and condition justify it. Keep previous invoices for any VIN-specific campaign enquiry.
Identify the actual transmission, then choose the job. Scheduled fluid work, a control fault and worn internal components are different repair decisions.
Match the unit, fluid and history. List the quantity, applicable filter or seals and routine labour; avoid a universal flush package.
EAT6/EAT8, older automatics and manual versions have their own requirements.Report whether the issue is cold, hot or during a particular shift. Compare any hydraulic, electronic or mechanical findings before choosing parts.
Fresh oil or adaptation is not a guaranteed cure for worn hardware.Compare a serviceable repair with a compatible replacement. Include removal/refitting, unit condition, fluid, required setup and testing in the total.
New, rebuilt and used units can have different availability and repair cover. The hybrid e-DCS6 is a different transmission. Send the exact version for an enquiry, or compare our gearbox repair options before requesting your quote.
Start with the model and year. Engine details, VIN and the last invoice can follow when needed; you do not need to identify a gearbox code just to ask for help.

The current Dubai passenger range includes these SUVs. Separate an oil service from cooling, AC, brake or gearbox work; the year and fitted engine select the parts.
The current Dubai range includes the 408; existing hatchbacks and saloons remain relevant repair enquiries. Older 206, 207, 301, 307, 407 and RCZ versions need parts availability checked.
Mention the engine, fuel type, load use and vehicle dimensions. Confirm bay access, equipment and job coverage before bringing a van.
Both appear in the current Dubai range. Describe the pickup or passenger-transport use and requested work so lifting, access and parts requirements can be checked.
For Rifter, BlueHDi/diesel imports, hybrids or electric versions, send the exact vehicle and concern first. DPF, AdBlue, charging and high-voltage battery work need specialist coverage confirmed separately.
Use the handbook and the last service invoice to identify what is due. Time, mileage and engine specification determine the work; a package name is not a complete item list.
Compare a quote that separates scheduled replacements, the reported fault and optional work. This helps avoid paying for the same item twice when a service and repair share access labour.
Use the engine-specific approval and quantity. Viscosity alone is not enough; air and cabin filters are separate items in the service plan.
List the due spark plugs, brake fluid and other scheduled items. A major service does not automatically include timing parts, brakes, AC or gearbox repairs.
Compare the exact application, maker and warranty with fitting, fluids and required programming. A shared Stellantis platform does not make all parts interchangeable.
Check remaining warranty, recalls or a service contract with the official provider before paying privately. Mechanics is independent; paid workshop repair cover has separate written terms.
Tell us the model, year and what changed. A dashboard photo, mileage and previous report help when available. Agree the appointment and any pickup arrangement before travelling.
Call to confirm opening hours. Pickup availability, transport suitability and any charge are agreed for the job.

+971 50 608 7150General Dubai planning budgets are AED 350–900 for a minor service and AED 900–2,500 for a major service, including 5% VAT. Oil quantity, filters and items actually due affect the price. Timing work, fault investigation and repairs are separate unless named in your written quote. These figures are estimates, not fixed Peugeot tariffs.
No. Identify the engine generation and VIN first. Peugeot acknowledges belt-related oil-pressure and oil-consumption issues affecting some earlier 1.0 and 1.2 PureTech engines. Its new-generation 1.2 Hybrid 136 uses a timing chain. A 1.6 petrol or THP engine is another application. Follow the applicable maintenance information rather than ordering a belt kit from the model badge alone.
Describe whether the car hesitates, shifts harshly, slips or displays a gearbox warning. A scheduled fluid service, control-system repair and internal gearbox repair are different jobs. Match the actual unit before selecting the fluid or procedure. An e-DCS6 hybrid transmission is different again. New oil or resetting adaptations is not a guaranteed repair for worn parts.
Send the complete dashboard message and describe when it appears. An engine fault message does not identify one failed part. For oil-pressure warnings, overheating, reduced braking or another dashboard instruction to stop, stop safely and arrange suitable assistance. Do not open a hot coolant system or keep driving to test whether the warning clears.
Send the exact version and requested work before booking. Confirm diagnostic access, vehicle size and workshop arrangements for BlueHDi/DPF/AdBlue concerns, 48V or plug-in hybrids, electric e-models and commercial vehicles. High-voltage battery repairs, charging-system work and emissions-system repairs need specific coverage confirmed; a general servicing enquiry does not establish that capability.
Compare the exact part number, genuine or named compatible alternative, fitting, fluids and any required programming. Ask for parts delivery separately from workshop time. The final quote and invoice should state applicable repair-cover terms. Factory warranty, recalls and service contracts are separate; check remaining benefits and VIN-specific campaigns with the official provider before paying privately. Overseas PureTech support terms do not establish UAE eligibility.
