What we do

German car services under one roof

Every job below is done on Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Porsche and Volkswagen every week in our Al Quoz workshop. Tap a service to see how it works, what we check and what decides the price.

Shared weak spots

What German cars have in common

Different badges, similar engineering. These six areas cover most of the German car work that comes into our Al Quoz workshop, and Dubai heat speeds up several of them.

Valve cover gasket being replaced01

Oil leaks

Rubber gaskets and seals harden with heat and age. Valve covers, oil filter housings and oil coolers are the usual places.

  • BMW
  • Mercedes
  • Audi
Plastic water pump and coolant hoses02

Cooling plastics

Plastic water pumps, thermostat housings and coolant pipes become brittle in Dubai heat and start to weep or crack.

Gearboxes

Dual clutch and 8 and 9 speed automatics are smooth when healthy. Old fluid and stop and go traffic bring on judder and harsh shifts.

Electronics and coding

Many new parts must be coded or registered to the car before they work properly, from batteries to modules.

Air suspension check05

Air suspension

Air struts and compressors on luxury models wear out, often showing first as a car that sits low in the morning.

Timing chain inspection06

Timing chains

A rattle on a cold start can be a stretched chain or a tired tensioner. Caught early, it is a planned job, not an engine.

  • BMW

These are the areas we check first on German cars. Each brand page lists the faults specific to that make, with sources.

Warning signs not to drive on

German cars are built for European roads. Summer heat, sand and stop and go traffic on Sheikh Zayed Road push rubber, plastics and fluids harder. These are the signs we tell owners to act on, and how soon.

50°CSummer engine bays run far hotter than the air. That is why gaskets, coolant plastics and batteries age faster here.
Temperature rising or coolant warningOften a water pump, thermostat or cracked coolant pipe. Driving on can warp the head.Stop now

Honest advice

The dealer or an independent specialist?

Both have their place. When work is free at the dealer, go there. When you are paying, a specialist who knows German cars is often better value. Here is how it splits, job by job.

Parts and price

You choose the parts, we show the price

The biggest difference in a German car bill is usually the parts, not the labour. Where it is safe to, we quote more than one option so you can choose.

Same job, different budgetsA brake job, a water pump or a suspension strut can be quoted with genuine, OE supplier or quality aftermarket parts. Each option is written in the quote with its price.
Genuine

Dealer branded parts

The part in the brand box. Highest price, and the right choice for some safety and electronic parts.

  • Same part the dealer fits
  • Best for modules and key parts
  • Longest wait on rare items
OE supplier

Same maker, no brand box

Made by the company that supplies the factory, such as Bosch, ZF, Lemforder or Mahle. Often the best value.

  • Factory quality
  • Lower price than genuine
  • Our usual recommendation
Aftermarket

Quality aftermarket

Trusted brands for wear parts such as filters, pads and some cooling parts, where quality is proven.

  • Lowest price
  • Only brands we trust
  • Not used for safety critical parts

German car questions

Brands, faults and the dealer.

Ask on WhatsApp
Which German cars do you repair?

Mercedes-Benz, Mercedes-AMG, Maybach, BMW, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen, Brabus and Opel, from everyday models to performance and luxury cars.

Why do German cars leak oil in Dubai?

Gaskets and seals are rubber, and heat makes them harden and shrink over time. Valve cover gaskets, oil filter housings and oil coolers are the usual sources. We find the exact leak before quoting.

Do new parts on German cars need coding?

Often, yes. Batteries, modules and some sensors must be registered or coded to the car so it uses them correctly. We include that in the quote when it is needed.

Will servicing my German car with you affect the warranty?

It depends on your warranty terms. If your car is still covered, warranty faults and recalls are free at the dealer and we tell you so. Out of warranty, we service and repair it with a written quote first.

Can you check a dealer quote for my car?

Yes. Send us the quote and the car details on WhatsApp and we tell you what we would check, and what we would charge, in writing.

Do you use genuine parts on German cars?

We can. Where it is safe to, we quote genuine, OE supplier and quality aftermarket options, each with its own price in writing, and you choose.

How long does a German car repair take?

It depends mostly on parts. We give you the expected time with the written quote, so you know before you approve the work.

Can you fix air suspension on Mercedes, Porsche and Audi?

Yes. We test the struts, compressor and valve block first, so you only replace the part that has actually failed.

Do you inspect used German cars before purchase?

Yes. We check the car on the lift, scan every module for stored faults and send you a written report with photos.

My German car is overheating. What should I do?

Pull over safely and switch off. Do not open the coolant cap while it is hot. Message us on WhatsApp and we arrange recovery to the workshop.

Where is your workshop?

In Al Quoz, Dubai. Message us and we send the exact location, or we arrange recovery if the car cannot be driven.
